I was born into a swimming family with my older brother and sisters all being competitive swimmers. At an early age I won County titles and also swam at Regional and National level.
Swimming was soon replaced by my love of football, much to the disappointment of my parents. However, after a lengthy career break, I fell back in love with swimming and get immense satisfaction from working with people and helping them achieve their goals.
I am a qualified A.S.A coach and S.T.A open water coach. As well as Coaching, I also compete in Masters’ events and have managed to win fourteen British titles, seven of which were achieved in open water events and I am the current British champion at both 1500 and 3000 metre distances. In 2016 I achieved a Silver medal at the European championships and in 2017 a fourth place at the World championships, so I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to pass on to people.
